The Public Works Department has planned to construct a bridge between Cauvery and Coleroon. The proposed bridge would be constructed at Jeeyapuram village belong to Srirangam and it would connect Sirugambur village belonging to Mannachanallur.
Due to this Bridge Connectivity, it would be more easy for Heavy Vehciles from Karur, Salem to enter into city rather than of using chennai Bye-pass road.Traffic congestion in the city may strictly reduced.
Upcoming Tamil Nadu first Butterfly park, Srirangam is also constructed in between the planned Cauvery and Coleroon bridge. So, it also brings the connectivity between Butterfly park to reach as easily.
